A Psalm (sacred song about or to God) of David [Beloved], when he was in the wilderness of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised].
O God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], youi [are] my God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]; early will I seek youi: my soul thirsts for youi, my flesh longs for youi in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
To see youri power and youri glory, so [as] I have seen youi in the sanctuary.
Because youri lovingkindness [is] better than life, my lips shall praise youi.
Thus will I bless youi while I live: I will lift up my hands in youri name.
My soul shall be satisfied as [with] marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise [youi] with joyful lips:
When I remember youi upon my bed, [and] meditate on youi in the [night] watches.
Because youi have been my help, therefore in the shadow of youri wings will I rejoice.
My soul follows hard after youi: youri right hand upholds me.
But those [that] seek my soul, to destroy [it], shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
But the king shall rejoice in God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]; every one that swears by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
