Jeremiah, 40:3

and Jehovah hath brought it, and done according as he spake: because ye have sinned against Jehovah, and have not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing is come upon you.

Now the LORD has brought it about and has done just as He promised. Because you [people of Judah] have sinned against the LORD and did not listen to and honor His voice, therefore this thing has happe

Now the Lord has brought it about and has done as He said: [It is] because you [of Judah] have sinned against the Lord and have not obeyed His voice, therefore this thing has come upon you.

and he has brought it. And the Lord has done just as he has spoken. For you have sinned against the Lord, and you have not heeded his voice, and so this word has happened to you.

and the LORD has fulfilled it. He has done just what he decreed. Because you people have sinned against the LORD and have not obeyed him, this thing has happened.

Now the LORD has made it happen. He has done just as he warned because all of you have sinned against the LORD and haven’t obeyed him. That’s why this has happened to you.

and ADONAI has brought it about; he has done what he said he would do, because you people sinned against ADONAI and did not listen to what he said; that is why this has come upon you.

But they continued to rebel against him, and now he has punished them just as he threatened.

and Jehovah hath brought it about and done according as he said; for ye have sinned against Jehovah, and have not hearkened unto his voice, therefore this thing is come upon you.

And he hath brought it. And the Lord hath done as he hath said: because you have sinned against the Lord and have not hearkened to his voice, and this word is come upon you.

Now he has done that. The LORD has done what he promised to do. He sent this trouble because your people did not obey the LORD. They turned against him.

He has carried out his threat. The LORD did as he promised because you Israelites have sinned against him and refused to obey him. That is why this has happened to you.
