Ezekiel, 24:9

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.

Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, “Woe to the bloody city! I will also make the pile [of wood] high.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: Woe to the bloodguilty city! Also I will make the pile [of fuel] great.

Because of this, thus says the Lord God: Woe to the city of blood, out of which I will make a great funeral pyre.

“‘Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: Woe to the city of bloodshed! I myself will make the pile of kindling large.

So now the LORD God proclaims: Horror! You bloody city! I myself will add fuel to the fire!

“Therefore Adonai ELOHIM says this: ‘Woe to the city drenched with blood! I myself will make a huge bonfire

I, the LORD God, will punish that city of violence! I will make a huge pile of firewood

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Woe to the bloody city, of which I will make a great bonfire.

So this is what the Almighty LORD says: Terrible trouble will come to the city that is full of murderers! I will put more wood on the fire to destroy it.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.

Yes, this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Woe to the city of bloodshed! I, too, will pile the kindling high.

So this is what the Lord God says: Disaster is coming to the city that has shed so much blood! I will also pile up a large heap of firewood.

“ ‘This is what the Almighty LORD says: How horrible it will be for that city of murderers. I, too, will pile the wood high.

Therefore thus saith ye Lord God, Woe to the bloody citie, for I will make ye burning great.

This is what the Sovereign LORD is saying: “The city of murderers is doomed! I myself will pile up the firewood.
