Lest they tear my soul like a lion, Rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.


So that my enemy will not tear me like a lion, Dragging me away while there is no one to rescue [me].

O Lord, my God, in you I have hoped. Save me from all those who persecute me, and free me
