Thou, even thou, art to be feared; And who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

You, even You, are to be feared [with the submissive wonder of reverence]; Who may stand in Your presence when once You are angry?

You, even You, are to be feared [with awe and reverence]! Who may stand in Your presence when once Your anger is roused?

And I meditated in the night with my heart, and I was distressed, and I examined my spirit.

And you — you are to be feared. When you are angry, who can stand before you?

You! You are awesome! Who can stand before you when you are angry?

At your rebuke, God of Ya‘akov, riders and horses lie stunned.

Our God, you are fearsome, and no one can oppose you when you are angry.
