Ezra, 5:9

Then asked we those elders, and said unto them thus, Who gave you a decree to build this house, and to finish this wall?

Then we asked those elders, ‘Who issued you a decree to rebuild this temple and to finish this structure?’

Then we asked those elders, Who authorized you to build this house and restore these walls?

Therefore, we questioned those elders, and we spoke to them in this way: 'Who has given authority to you, so that you would build this house and repair these walls?'

So we questioned the elders and asked, “Who gave you the order to rebuild this temple and finish this structure?”

We asked those elders, “Who authorized you to build this house and to complete the preparation of this material?”

So we questioned the elders and asked, “Who authorized you to rebuild this temple and restore this structure?”

We questioned the leaders, asking them, ‘Who gave you permission to rebuild this Temple and finish it?’

We asked their leaders the following question: “Who gave you permission to rebuild this temple and finish its walls?”

Then asked we those Elders, and sayd vnto them thus, Who hath giuen you commandement to buylde this house, and to lay the foundation of these walles?

“We then asked the leaders of the people to tell us who had given them authority to rebuild the Temple and to equip it.

So we questioned the elders and asked, “Who gave you the order to rebuild this temple and finish this structure? ”

We asked their elders, “Who gave you permission to rebuild this Temple and these walls?”

We inquired of those elders, asking them, ‘Who gave you the authority to rebuild this temple and to complete this structure?’
