Jeremiah, 37:9

Thus saith Jehovah, Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us; for they shall not depart.

Thus says the LORD, ‘Do not deceive yourselves, saying, “The Chaldeans will certainly stay away from us,” for they will not stay away.

Thus says the Lord: Do not deceive yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans will surely stay away from us–for they will not stay away.

But even if you were to strike down the entire army of the Chaldeans who are fighting against you, and if there were left behind from among them only a few wounded men, they would rise up, each one fr

This is what the LORD says: Don’t deceive yourselves by saying, “The Chaldeans will leave us for good,” for they will not leave.
