Then said I, O Lord Jehovah, cease, I beseech thee: how shall Jacob stand? for he is small.
Then I said, “O Lord GOD, please stop! How can Jacob stand, For he is so small [that he cannot endure this]?”
Then said I, O Lord God, cease, I pray You! How can Jacob stand? He is so little!
And I said, "Lord God, cease, I beg you. Who will raise up Jacob, for he is little?"
Then I said, “Lord GOD, please stop! How will Jacob survive since he is so small?”

Then said I, O Lord Jehovah, cease, I beseech thee! How shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
And I said: O Lord God, cease, I beseech thee, who shall raise up Jacob, for he is a little one?
I said, ‘LORD God, please do not do that! Your people cannot continue to live. We are too weak!’
Then I said, “O Lord GOD, please cease! How can Jacob stand? He is so small!”
Then I said, “Lord GOD, please stop! How will Jacob survive, since he is so small?”
I pleaded with the Lord God, “Please stop! How can the descendants of Jacob survive? They are so weak.”
Then I said, “Almighty LORD, please stop! How can ⌞the descendants of⌟ Jacob survive? There are so few of them.”
Then said I, O Lord God, cease, I beseeche thee: who shall raise vp Iaakob? for he is small.
Then I said, “Stop, Sovereign LORD! How can your people survive? They are so small and weak!”
