Isaiah, 27:7

Hath he smitten them as he smote those that smote them? or are they slain according to the slaughter of them that were slain by them?

Like the striking by Him who has struck them, has He struck them? Or like the slaughter of His slain, have they been slain?

Has [the Lord] smitten [Israel] as He smote those who smote them? Or have [the Israelites] been slain as their slayers were slain?

Has he struck him with the scourge that he himself used to strike others? Or has he killed in the manner that he himself used to kill his victims?

Did the LORD strike Israel as he struck the one who struck Israel? Was Israel killed like those killed by the LORD?

Did God strike Israel as he struck those who struck him? Was Israel killed as his killers were killed?

[ADONAI] will not strike Isra’el, as he did others who struck Isra’el; he will not kill them, as he did the others.

I, the LORD, didn't punish and kill the people of Israel as fiercely as I punished and killed their enemies.

The LORD did not punish Israel's people as much as he punished their enemies. He did not kill them as much as he killed their enemies.

Has the LORD struck Israel as He struck her oppressors? Was she killed like those who slayed her?

Has the Lord hit Israel as he hit those that attacked them? Were they killed like their killers were killed?

Will the LORD hurt Israel as he hurt others who hurt them? Will he kill them as he killed others?

Hath hee smitten him as hee smote those that smote him? or is hee slaine according to the slaughter of them that were slaine by him?

Israel has not been punished by the LORD as severely as its enemies, nor lost as many people.
