What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

“What profit is there in my blood (death), if I go down to the pit (grave)? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness [to man]?

If I go down into the deep hole of death, that will not help you! My dead body cannot praise you there! It cannot tell people to trust you!
