Thou hast taken away all thy wrath; Thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

You have withdrawn all Your wrath, You have turned away from Your burning anger.

You have withdrawn all Your wrath and indignation, You have turned away from the blazing anger [which You had let loose].

O Lord, be merciful to me, for I have cried out to you all day long.
