And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, Thou shalt not come in hither. Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion; the same is the city of David.


Then the Jebusites said to David, “You shall not come in here.” But David captured the stronghold of Zion (that is, the City of David).


Then the Jebusites said to David, You shall not come in here! But David took the stronghold of Zion, that is, the City of David.


And those who were living in Jebus said to David: "You shall not enter here." But David seized the stronghold of Zion, which is the city of David.
