Daniel, 6:5

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

Then these men said, “We will not find any basis for an accusation against this Daniel unless we find something against him in connection with the law of his God.”

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion [to bring accusation] against this Daniel except we find it against him concerning the law of his God. [Acts 24:13-21; I Pet. 4:12-16.]

Therefore, these men said, "We will not find any complaint against this Daniel, unless it is against the law of his God."

Then these men said, “We will never find any charge against this Daniel unless we find something against him concerning the law of his God.”

So these men said, “We won’t find any fault in Daniel, unless we can find something to use against him from his religious practice.”

They said to one another, “We are not going to find anything of which to accuse Daniel unless it is something in connection with his religion.”

Then these men said, “We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.”

Then the ministers and satraps tried to find grounds for accusation against Daniel regarding the kingdom. But they could not accuse him of any corruption. Because he was trustworthy, no fault or corru

The vice-regents and governors got together to find some old scandal or skeleton in Daniel’s life that they could use against him, but they couldn’t dig up anything. He was totally exemplary and trust

Then the overseers and satraps sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the malchut; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was trustworthy, neither was there any neglig
