and they that are in the flesh cannot please God.


and those who are in the flesh [living a life that caters to sinful appetites and impulses] cannot please God.


So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him.


So those who are in the flesh are not able to please God.


Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.


People who are self-centered aren’t able to please God.


Thus, those who identify with their old nature cannot please God.


If we follow our desires, we cannot please God.

People who let their human thoughts rule them cannot make God happy.


Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

and those who follow their sinful nature can never please God.


Those who are under the control of the corrupt nature can’t please God.


So then they that are in the flesh, can not please God.


Those who obey their human nature cannot please God.

Those who think they can do it on their own end up obsessed with measuring their own moral muscle but never get around to exercising it in real life. Those who trust God’s action in them find that God
