For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scoffer ceaseth, and all they that watch for iniquity are cut off


For the tyrant will come to an end and the scorner will be finished, Indeed all who are intent on doing evil will be cut off


For the terrible one [the Assyrian enemy] shall come to nought, and the scoffer shall cease, and all those who watch for iniquity [as an occasion for accusation] shall be cut off
