Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying

“Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Ask the priests for a ruling

Thus says the Lord of hosts: Ask now the priests to decide this question of law

On the twenty-fourth of the ninth month, in the second year of king Darius, the word of the Lord came to Haggai the prophet, saying

“This is what the LORD of Armies says: Ask the priests for a ruling.

This is what the LORD of heavenly forces says: Go ahead and ask the priests for a ruling

“Here is what ADONAI-Tzva’ot says: ‘Ask the cohanim what the Torah says about this
