Isaiah, 9:13

Yet the people have not turned unto him that smote them, neither have they sought Jehovah of hosts.

Yet the people do not turn back [in repentance] to Him who struck them, Nor do they seek the LORD of hosts [as their most essential need].

Yet the people turn not to Him Who smote them, neither do they seek [inquire for or require as their vital need] the Lord of hosts.

And the people did not return to the One who struck them, and they did not seek the Lord of hosts.

The people did not turn to him who struck them; they did not seek the LORD of Armies.

But the people didn’t turn to the one who struck them. They didn’t seek the LORD of heavenly forces.

Therefore ADONAI will cut off Isra’el’s head and tail, [tall] palm frond and [lowly] reed in a single day.

The people of Israel still did not turn back to the LORD All-Powerful and worship him.

For after all this punishment, the people will still not repent. They will not seek the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.
