And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him.


He said, “Bring me a new jar, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.


He said, Bring me a new bowl and put salt [the symbol of God's purifying power] in it. And they brought it to him.


And so he said, "Bring a new vessel to me, and place salt in it." And when they had brought it
