And Elijah said unto him, Tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me to the Jordan. And he said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on.


Elijah said to him, “Please stay here, for the LORD has sent me to the Jordan.” But he said, “As the LORD lives and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.


Elijah said to him, Tarry here, I pray you, for the Lord has sent me to the Jordan. But he said, As the Lord lives and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. And the two of them went on.


Then Elijah said to him: "Remain here. For the Lord has sent me as far as the Jordan." And he said, "As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not forsake you." And so, the two of them continu


Elijah said to him, “Stay here; the LORD is sending me to the Jordan.” But Elisha said, “As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.


Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, because the LORD has sent me to the Jordan.” But Elisha said, “As the LORD lives and as you live, I won’t leave you.” So both of them went on together.


Eliyahu said to him, “Please wait here, because ADONAI has sent me to the Yarden.” He replied, “As ADONAI lives, and as you live, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.


Elijah then said to Elisha, “Now the LORD wants me to go to the Jordan River, but you must stay here.” Elisha replied, “I swear by the living LORD and by your own life that I will never leave you!” So


Elijah then said to Elisha, “Now the LORD wants me to go to the River Jordan, but you must stay here.” Elisha replied, “I swear by the living LORD and by your own life that I will never leave you!” So
