But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.

Then he went in and stood before his master. Elisha asked him, “Where have you been, Gehazi?” He said, “Your servant went nowhere.”

He went back into the house, and Elisha asked him, “Where have you been?” “Oh, nowhere, sir,” he answered.

Gehazi came and stood by his master. “Where did you go, Gehazi? ” Elisha asked him. “Your servant didn’t go anywhere,” he replied.
