Isaiah, 43:28

Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel a reviling.

So I will profane the officials of the sanctuary, And I will consign Jacob to destruction and [I will subject] Israel to defamation and abuse.

And so I will profane the chief ones of the sanctuary and will deliver Jacob to the curse (the ban, a solemn anathema or excommunication) and [will subject] Israel to reproaches and reviling.

And so, I have defiled the holy leaders. I have handed over Jacob to slaughter, and Israel to calumny.

So I defiled the officers of the sanctuary, and set Jacob apart for destruction and Israel for scorn.

So I made the holy officials impure, handed over Jacob to destruction and Israel to abuse.

Therefore I repudiated the officials of the sanctuary, delivered Ya‘akov to the curse of destruction, and subjected Isra’el to scorn.

That's why I don't allow your priests to serve me; I let Israel be destroyed and your people disgraced.

And I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the ban, and Israel to reproaches.

And I have profaned the holy princes: I have given Jacob to slaughter and Israel to reproach.

So I caused the priests of your temple to become ashamed. I caused enemies to destroy Israel. I let them insult Jacob's descendants.’

Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary, and deliver Jacob to utter destruction and Israel to reviling.

So I will disgrace the princes of your sanctuary, and I will devote Jacob to destruction and Israel to reproach.”

So I treated the priests of the sanctuary with contempt, and I handed Jacob over to be destroyed, and Israel to be scorned.”

That is why I will corrupt the leaders of the holy place. I will claim Jacob for destruction. I will set up Israel for ridicule.

Therefore I haue prophaned the rulers of the Sanctuarie, and haue made Iaakob a curse, and Israel a reproche.

and your rulers profaned my sanctuary. So I brought destruction on Israel; I let my own people be insulted.”

So I defiled the officers of the sanctuary, and set Jacob apart for destruction and Israel for abuse.

I will make your Temple leaders unfit to serve there. I will destroy Jacob. Bad things will happen to Israel.

So I will make your holy rulers not holy. And I will bring destruction on the people of Jacob. And I will let Israel be insulted.”

Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary and have set up Jacob as anathema, and Israel as a reproach.

Till I repudiated the holy princes, put Jacob under the ban, exposed Israel to scorn.

“So I will profane the officials of the sanctuary, And I will turn Jacob over to destruction and Israel to abuse.

So I will pollute the princes of the sanctuary, And I will consign Jacob to the ban and Israel to revilement.

So I will make your holy rulers unholy. I will bring destruction on the people of Jacob, and I will let Israel be insulted.”

So I defiled your holy princes, and handed Jacob over to destruction, and subjected Israel to humiliating abuse.”

So I put the high officials of your temple to shame. I let Jacob’s family be totally destroyed. And I let people make fun of Israel.

So I disgraced the dignitaries of your temple; I consigned Jacob to destruction and Israel to scorn.

Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; I will give Jacob to the curse, And Israel to reproaches.

That is why I have disgraced your priests; I have decreed complete destruction for Jacob and shame for Israel.
