Luke, 6:2

But certain of the Pharisees said, Why do ye that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath day?


But some of the Pharisees said, “Why are you doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?”


But some of the Pharisees asked them, Why are you doing what is not permitted to be done on the Sabbath days? [Exod. 20:10; 23:12; Deut. 5:14.]


Then certain Pharisees said to them, "Why are you doing what is not lawful on the Sabbaths?"


But some of the Pharisees said, “Why are you doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath?”


Some Pharisees said, “Why are you breaking the Sabbath law?”

Some of the Pharisees were walking with them. They said, ‘You should not be doing that on our day of rest. It is against God's Law.’


But some of the Pharisees said, “Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?”
