And the king said to him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou speak unto me nothing but the truth in the name of Jehovah?


Then the king said to him, “How many times must I warn you (make you swear an oath) to tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the LORD?”


And the king said to him, How many times shall I warn you to tell nothing but the truth to me in the name of the Lord?


And the king said, "Again and again, I bind you by an oath, so that you will not speak to me except what is true in the name of the Lord!"


But the king said to him, “How many times must I make you swear not to tell me anything but the truth in the name of the LORD?”


But the king said, “How many times must I demand that you tell me the truth when you speak in the LORD’s name?”


The king said to him, “How many times do I have to warn you to tell me nothing but the truth in the name of ADONAI?”


Ahab shouted, “Micaiah, I've told you over and over to tell me the truth! What does the LORD really say?”

But Ahab said to Micaiah, “How many times do I have to tell you to speak only the truth to me in the name of the LORD?”


The king said to him, “How many times must I make you solemnly promise in the name of the LORD to tell me only the truth?”


The king said to him, “I’ve made you promise to tell the truth many times before. So don’t tell me anything but the truth in the name of the LORD.”
