And she went out, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptizer.


She went out and said to her mother, “What shall I ask for?” And Herodias replied, “The head of John the Baptist!”


Then she left the room and said to her mother, What shall I ask for [myself]? And she replied, The head of John the Baptist!


And when she had gone out, she said to her mother, "What shall I request?" But her mother said, "The head of John the Baptist."


She went out and said to her mother, “What should I ask for?” “John the Baptist’s head,” she said.


She left the banquet hall and said to her mother, “What should I ask for?” “John the Baptist’s head,” Herodias replied.


So she went out and said to her mother, “What should I ask for?” She said, “The head of Yochanan the Immerser.”


The girl left and asked her mother, “What do you think I should ask for?” Her mother answered, “The head of John the Baptist!”
