I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant


[God has said] “I have made a covenant with My chosen one; I have sworn to David My servant


[You have said] I have made a covenant with My chosen one, I have sworn to David My servant


And, lest man be turned aside in humiliation, you have said: Be converted, O sons of men.


The LORD said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one; I have sworn an oath to David my servant

because I said, “Grace is built to last forever; in the heavens themselves you established your faithfulness.”
