Then said David to Jonathan, Who shall tell me if perchance thy father answer thee roughly?


Then David said to Jonathan, “Who will tell me if your father answers you harshly?”

And David responded to Jonathan, "Who will repeat it to me, if your father may perhaps answer you harshly about me?"

David then asked, “Who will let me know if your father answers you angrily?”
