And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.
“If they will not believe you or pay attention to the evidence of the first sign, they may believe the evidence of the second sign.
[Then God said] If they will not believe you or heed the voice or the testimony of the first sign, they may believe the voice or the witness of the second sign.

And the LORD said, “If they refuse to believe you or heed the witness of the first sign, they may believe that of the second.
“If they don't believe you and they're not convinced by the first sign, they'll believe because of the second sign,” the Lord explained.

Then the LORD said, “If the people do not believe you or pay attention to the first miracle, they may believe you when you show them this second miracle.
“If they do not believe you or pay attention to the former sign, then they may believe the latter sign.
Then the LORD said, “Suppose they do not believe you or pay attention to the first sign. Then maybe they will believe the second one.
